October 09

Move over Beer Fest! October is now the month of wine festivals.

Franschhoek Uncorked turned out to be a huge success, despite some bad weather. Robertson tried to take it slow on the river, but got flooded by people. Breedekloof went outdoors to accommodate the crowds . The Helderberg Festival sold 4000 tickets in the first 2 hours of the festival and received more than double the amount of visitors than the previous year. Tickets for Pinotage on Tap sold out days before the event. The winelands were truly buzzing with wine flies in search of hidden gems and good wine. Let’s have a look at the highest rated farms for October.
