The 08 Domaine Pinot is a great technical wine while the other Pinot (forget its name) is a good one too, especially for the unsophisticated palate – like mine.

Have you ever just stood still and looked at the beautiful views around you, this is what you get when you visit Newton Johnson (Heaven). The wine is great, the presenting and attention to the wine tasting is awesome. The Pinot Noir, a definite must to all wine lovers!!

After a slow start on our most recent visit – tired tasting room staff? – things picked up. This tasting I loved the Felicite Rose – I’m already sorry I didn’t buy more of it – and I think the Felicite Pinot Noir is a great introduction to a complex grape at an affordable price.

We visit regularly, never been disappointed. Great wines, pleasant tasting room staff and amazing views, nice range of prices and very good restaurant too.

Beautiful tasting room with lovely views and awesome fynbos. The Newton-Johnson cellar has lovely art having on the walls and have some French wines available for purchase, and a great tasting room experience (as well as tasty food in Heaven restaurant) awaits the visitor.
The wines are well made and delicious.

Newton Johnson has the best views across the Hemel-en-Aarde, over the sea towards Hangklip. A sip of their lightly oaked Chardonnay and you are in HEAVEN.
