I was there yesterday. The service was excellent and the sales lady was very informative. The wines are probably the best kept secret ever! They have a Sauvignon blanc, Chenin blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Hanepoot Jerepiko. The Sauvignon blanc was my favourite and the story behind the wine was cute. The wines was excellent and the prices was very cheap. Perfect for the ressesion, because you can get good quality wine at unbeatable prices.
I also love the fact that the girl who did the tasting with us told us more about the area and was warm and friendly.
Wagenboom wines will definately see me again!
This one is extremely corporate. They only had 2 wines to taste. Both white wines. Very cheap at R17 and R19. Most of their grapes juice are sold to other wineries and the bottle only 2% of their harvest. If you don’t drink anything below R40 a bottle, this place is not for you at all.
