Enjoyed the Viognier! Very beautiful tasting room, as the name suggest, rustic. I had a very enjoyable experience.

I am not really a fan of really old things, or should I say vintage but the way they combined implements and tools from days gone by with stunning modern photographs, plants in coffee mugs and stylish chairs and tables was just amazing. The wines are great and one of the nicest viogniers I have had in a long time. Reds were memorable as well. Definitely on my recommendation list.

I must say I enjoyed the reds a lot. The Odyssey was highly enjoyable at only R70 a bottle. Special features in the tasting room gives the place a lot of character and yes it does feel very rustic! A must visit in the valley.

The Viognier 2009 stands out as something special, good acidity balancing the dried fruit richness of the wine. Reds not so great. Attractive farm with boules court and tranquil setting, and lots of interesting old bits and pieces of equipment. Venison burgers being sold on Wacky Wine Weekend were delicious.

Lovely Viognier but the rest very different. Very nice tasting room.

Interesting set-up and tubs up for trying to keep it all “old-school”. Excellent Wild yeast fermented Merlot….go try it!
