We arrived un announced on a Sunday morning to meet the owner who very graciously showed us around the Manor house. He then proceeded to take us on an unrushed tasting on the wonderful deck. We even got to blend, label and bottle our own Excelsior inspired creation. Fantastic hospitality and awesome reasonably priced wines! Will go back time and again.

What a nice place. The best food and very relaxing atmosphere.

Awesome stay in the Manor House and personalised cellar tour with tank samples. Great hospitality.

The combination of the deck & botteling of your own wine was treat. Will definitly visit Excelsior again.

Excelsior’s blend your own wine was good fun again at this year’s Wacky Wine Weekend. I’d saved my bottle from last year and finally drank it on the first night back at WWW and was pleasantly surprised (I am sure thanks to the fabulous wine that went into it, rather than my wine blending prowess So I am looking forward to what this year’s concoction is going to taste like.

Only disappointment was that Houdini the Excelsior cat, who was suffering from a hang over when we met her last year, was nowhere to be seen. Apparently she is very much on the wagon after over indulging on her farm’s wine at last year’s festival!
