The worst breakfast ever during the wacky wine weekend. Went their on the Sunday morning and our whole table almost choked on the bacon. It was so dry it was black. But that’s not the farms fault though, just the catering company I guess.
The Brut was the best out of the wines I tasted and cheap at R30.
Staff were seriously friendly..wine seriously mediocre.
Moenie hierdie Breedekloofkelder onderskat nie! Die Ashton Unwooded Chardonnay 2008 het die Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show 2009 se trofee vir die Beste Ongehoute Chardonnay gewen! Patrick, een van die weinige swart proelokaalpersoneellede en tans by Lourensford, het ons meesterlike deur die wyne gelei. Die Ashton Winery-reeks se Cabernet Sauvignon, Satyn Rooi en Satyn Wit is baie drinkbaar en ‘n winskoop! Vir die meer ernstige wynliefhebber is daar die Reserve-reeks met die Shiraz ‘n vrugtige wyn vol peper.
