Ormonde Cellars has a wide variety of wines on tasting to fit any wallet. Alexander Fontein wines would be suitable for those “end of the month” wine tasting trips and Ormonde wines will be suitable for that Christmas Bonus wine trips. One for the collection ( when that 13th cheque clears) is the Ormonde Cab Sab and Merlot blend 2005. A bit pricey but definitely a keeper at R140.

Although the farm is situated in the town, the scenery is still pleasant and give some kind of stature. The pestos and olive verities are good. All and all worth the stop if you ever pass through Darling again
