Need we say more? I mean these guys know what they are doing, worth the drive out into the Klein Karoo
Has any of you ever gone to De Krans without popping in at Boplaas first? This might be an advantage, because by the time you get to De Kraans via Boplaas the wines’ scores automatically go up by at least one point. (That is, if you are a swallower like me).
De Krans’ wines have never disappointed. They have a HUGE range with many different styles and varieties. From the Portuguese varieties of Tinta Barroca to the Spanish giant, Tempranillo and of course our very own Pinotage. But mostly they are known for the port. Mmmm port.
They cater for the sweet toothed and the person looking for a full bodied red, for the first time wine drinker and the connoisseur.
This is a great wine farm situated in the hart of South Africa’s Port region, and boy do they make great use of their location.
Great place guys with friendly staff too.
