How many of you know that Boland has 2 tasting rooms? But the one in Northern Paarl certainly is tops – Ivonia is a sweetheart and very good with people, and the atmosphere in the tasting room is very cosy (if a little dark).

And the CappuPinoCinoTage (spelling? eish) is extremely fun!

We where helped by a very helpful and Jovial host called Ivonia, Her tasting was exatly whats written on the label. The cellar however is worth the visit its almost underground and classical with a rustic look and feel about it.
wines are pretty good especially for a co-op worth the visit

The philosophy of Boland Kelder is teamwork and terroir. During the last decade Boland Kelder has undergone a major turn from being a production orientated cellar to a market driven company.

Just a pity the host was boring and just a pourer. One could see that see really did not want to be there.

The wine was easy drinking and very affordable. The tasting room has the same look as Bergkelder’s tasting room, but the atmosphere was not the same.
